The Older, Wiser, Loving Saints (O.W.L.S.) are a group of senior saints at GCBC. Although there is no age requirement for the group, most of them are over 60 years of age and either retired or semiretired. Their heart’s desire is to gather together for fellowship, have a time of Scripture devotion, care for each other, and pray for one another. They are also involved in many ministry opportunities both within GCBC, as well as in the local community. Some of these ministries include prison service, Doors to Freedom, and clothing supply for needy students at Whitesville Elementary School. The O.W.L.S. meet about twice a month on Thursday mornings and occasionally take day trips together.
