What We Believe

GCBC is a Reformed Baptist church. In a nutshell, we believe that God created men and women for His glory. Yet, because of the sinful things we have done, said or thought, we have separated ourselves from His eternal presence.

But because God is merciful toward those whom He has created in His image, He sent His Son, Jesus the Christ, to suffer and die in our place of punishment, thus reconciling all those who believe in Jesus with the Father, restoring us to an eternal, God-centered life of service and praise.

We believe that the restoration of our relationship with God is a sovereign work of God’s grace alone. We can do nothing in and of ourselves to earn or achieve God’s favor. Thus we teach and proclaim the Doctrines of Grace.

Because it could take much more space, and much of your time to outline in depth all that we believe, we are providing the following links that serve as summaries of what we believe. If you have any questions, please feel to contact us!
